MBBS Admissions 2026
Complete Admission Process, NEET Score Analysis, and Counselling Roadmap
Understanding MBBS Admission Options
Securing an MBBS seat requires navigating NEET exam rankings and registration procedures. Broadly, students have three routes:
- 1. Government Medical Seats: Affordable seats filled via All India Quota (15%) and State Quotas (85%). Requires very high NEET scores (580-700+).
- 2. Private & Deemed University Seats: Includes self-financing colleges and private institutions. Moderate NEET scores (300-550+) are accepted, but yearly fees range from ₹4 Lakhs to ₹25 Lakhs.
- 3. Abroad Medical Universities: Standard, NMC-compliant federal universities. Requires only NEET qualifying score (120-140+). Total budgets are highly budget-friendly (₹15 Lakhs to ₹35 Lakhs package).
